Federal electoral district name changes
The Riding Name Change Act, 2014, came into effect on June 19, 2014. The Act modified the names of 31 electoral districts in the 2013 Federal Electoral District Representation Order. As of September 30, 2014, products presenting the 2013 Federal Electoral District Representation Order have been updated to reflect the name changes according to the Act.
The Act also modified one name within the 2003 Federal Electoral District Representation Order, namely 'Western Arctic' changed to 'Northwest Territories.' Products presenting the 2003 Federal Electoral District Representation Order have not been updated for the 'Western Arctic' name change.
