• In 2016, the enumerated population of Swift Current census agglomeration (CA) was 18,536, which represents a change of 5.7% from 2011. This compares to the provincial average of 6.3% and the national average of 5.0%.
• The land area of Swift Current is 1,131.74 square kilometres and the population density was 16.4 people per square kilometre.
• In 2016, there were 7,854 private dwellings occupied in Swift Current, which represent a change of 4.5% from 2011.
