In 2011, Leduc (City) had a population of 24,279, representing a percentage change of 43.1% from 2006. This compares to the national average growth of 5.9%.

Land area is 36.97 square kilometres with a population density of 656.7 persons per square kilometre. This compares to the provincial land area of 640,081.87 square kilometres with a population density of 5.7 persons per square kilometre.

In 2011, Leduc (City) had 9,290 private dwellings occupied by usual residents. The change in private dwellings occupied by usual residents from 2006 was 42.3%. For Canada as a whole, the number of private dwellings occupied by usual residents increased 7.1%.

Leduc (City) is part of the census metropolitan area of Edmonton.

Leduc – Structural type of dwelling

Leduc, CY – Non-official languages

In Leduc, the three most common mother tongues were German (2.0%), Tagalog (Pilipino, Filipino) (1.6%) and Ukrainian (0.7%), in 2011.
