In 2011, Strathmore (Town) had a population of 12,305, representing a percentage change of 19.7% from 2006. This compares to the national average growth of 5.9%.

Land area is 27.28 square kilometres with a population density of 451.0 persons per square kilometre. This compares to the provincial land area of 640,081.87 square kilometres with a population density of 5.7 persons per square kilometre.

In 2011, Strathmore (Town) had 4,577 private dwellings occupied by usual residents. The change in private dwellings occupied by usual residents from 2006 was 20.6%. For Canada as a whole, the number of private dwellings occupied by usual residents increased 7.1%.

Strathmore (Town) is part of the census agglomeration of Strathmore.
