In 2011, Granby (Ville) had a population of 63,433, representing a percentage change of 6.8% from 2006. This compares to the national average growth of 5.9%.

Land area is 152.72 square kilometres with a population density of 415.3 persons per square kilometre. This compares to the provincial land area of 1,356,547.02 square kilometres with a population density of 5.8 persons per square kilometre.
