Description

This figure shows the age pyramid of the Canadian population aged 65 and over (by single years of age) in 2011 by sex and living arrangement. The categories of sex are men and women. The categories of living arrangements are living as part of a couple, living alone, other and living in a collective dwelling. The categories 'couple,' 'living alone' and 'other' include the population in private dwellings only. 'Other' includes lone-parents, adult children and living with relatives and/or non-relatives.
