This chart shows the growth rates in percentage of Canada's provinces and territories for two periods, 2001 to 2006 and 2006 to 2011. It also shows the population growth rate for Canada as a whole between 2006 and 2011, which was 5.9%. The following are the values for each province and territory, beginning with those for the period 2001 to 2006 followed by those for the period 2006 to 2011: -1.5% and 1.8% in Newfoundland and Labrador, 0.4% and 3.2% in Prince Edward Island, 0.6% and 0.9% in Nova Scotia, 0.1% and 2.9% in New Brunswick, 4.3% and 4.7% in Quebec, 6.6% and 5.7% in Ontario, 2.6% and 5.2% in Manitoba, -1.1% and 6.7% in Saskatchewan, 10.6% and 10.8% in Alberta, 5.3% and 7.0% in British Columbia, 5.9% and 11.6% in Yukon, 11.0% and 0.0% in the Northwest Territories,^{Footnote 1} 10.2% and 8.3% in Nunavut.
