Census questions in many languages
To assist people whose first language was neither English nor French, the census questions were translated into 62 other languages, including 18 Aboriginal languages. They are provided here for reference purposes.

Each PDF file below contains the questions found on the 2006 Census of Population questionnaire. The file also contains information about why the questions are asked.
Form 2D
The Census of Population 2D questionnaire is used to enumerate aboriginal communities on reserves and to conduct the early northern census. Each PDF file below contains a translation of the questions:
