The Federal Republic of Yugoslavia was formerly comprised of the six republics of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia. The remaining two republics of Serbia and Montenegro formed a new Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in 1992 and in 2003 became Serbia and Montenegro.
